there is one thing that I've never mentioned ... the way people greet each other when we meet on the street, answering the phone or simply come into contact with someone, talk to a real ritual that is puzzling in certain circumstances.
In fact, whenever you meet someone begins with "Hi how are you?" followed by a predictable and mechanical response "good thanks" and if we want to exaggerate even a "good thanks, and you? ".
At first I did not understand the need to always greeted in this way, always with this sentence, the first day when the orders of the supermarkets or shopping for clothes greeted me with" hi how are you? "remained always puzzled.
This phrase is repeated on the phone one day Ben said 3 times in a row on the phone and all 3 times began with "hi how are you?" etc etc ... things of this world, and even when there is little time and you need a fast response, however you can not escape the grip of the ritual!
the thing that I still have not cracked (but it seems absurd to me) is a repetition of this phrase too many times live example ... This evening David came in and out of the house several times, I said right after the canonical sentence ... the next time I remained silent, which is why he asked me if everything was fine ... ahahah
's not a bad thing that everyone is wondering how it is, only one thing that at first seems inconceivable to me as an Italian! and most likely this will be one of the things that I miss when I go away from here, because now it came into my mind as a routine.
Oh my god in a little over a month I go back to Italy .. I can not believe it is something that I never think about, something I try to drive out of my head. I wonder who has figured out who is actually Ben ... actually did not even know me but after the weekend away from him at last I understood it.
